Which airport do we fly into?
The closest airport to the Los Suenos Resort and to Jaco Beach is the Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO). is the primary airport serving San José, the capital of Costa Rica. The airport is located near the city of Alajuela, 20 km west of downtown San José. The tavel time to the Central Pacific from SJO is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. If you fly into the Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport (LIR) is Liberia, the travel time will be 2 hours 45 minutes.
Should I use the transportation service or get a car rental from the airport?
You may want a rental car for exploring the area. If you’ve never been to Costa Rica before, we recommend using the transportation service to transfer you from the airport after a your travel day. Of course, our Guest Services staff can assist you with a rental car if you prefer.
Do I need an International Drivers License?
Your valid U.S or Canadian driver’s license is good for 90 days while visiting Costa Rica. You are required to carry your passport (or a copy) to prove that you are within the 90 day limit.
How do I reserve a house or condo?

What is the cancellation policy?
A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date are subject to a 10% cancellation fee or $50 whichever is greater. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit. If you anticipate having to shorten your stay we suggest you purchase travel insurance separately.
Are US Dollars accepted in Costa Rica?
Yes, US Dollars are widely accepted here. Do not exchange US Dollars for the local currency (Colon) at the airport. The exchange rates are much better at the local Costa Rican banks.
How are rental rates set?
Rates are determined by market demand, competitor rates and seasonal conditions. We closely monitor the various trends and adjust rates to maximize occupancy.
